Wild Bird Food
Our seed is extremely fresh and never contains Milo. We know our local bird species and carry the only the foods they are attracted to
There is a big difference between the wild bird seed and wild bird food we carry compared to Big Box Stores, Pet Food Chains, Garden Centers, etc., and the birds know the difference. For wild birds, it’s all about freshness, which translates into high oil content in the seeds. National brands can languish for many months or even years as they make their way through distribution chains and sit on shelves, causing the seeds to dry out making them unattractive to wild birds. Another problem is a filler seed almost all brands use called Milo. This inexpensive seed not only contains very little oil, its shell is too hard for our native birds to crack open.
Our wild bird seed is extremely fresh, in most cases refrigerated by our distributors and never contains Milo. We know our local wild bird species and carry the only the foods they are attracted to.
We carry our own custom wild bird blends as well as single seeds, nuts and nut mixes.
You will also find high quality foods of the non-seed variety, including hummingbird nectar, oriole food, live and dried mealworms and a great selection of suet.
We know what our local birds -- and those exotic seasonal visitors -- like to eat. And to be sure, you'll find our prices surprisingly competitive given the amount of care and effort that goes into getting it to market quickly, before it loses its nutritional value.
